HS Media was founded by Don Moorhouse in 1993 as an outlet for burgeoning technology companies to extend their brands into the New England region. HS Media specialized in working with start-up companies in the brave, new world of the Internet.
HS Media worked with large companies like Dell Publishing and Amazon.com to help develop Amazon’s Associates Program with independent music and book distributors. HS Media also developed marketing strategies for AmericaWins.com, SoftMC, and Renovators.com.
HS Media expanded its reach in the music and film industry by producing the indie film Cathedral Pines with notable stars like Peter Scolari (Bosom Buddies), Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyways), John Fiore (The Spranos), and Peter Tork of the Monkees.
Recently, HS Media has again moved to the forefront of Web 2.0 marketing, developing an internet-only cooking show for Clear Channel Radio and Carando Foods that was viewed over 3 million times in New England’s primary markets (Boston, Hartford, Providence, Springfield, Manchester).
HS Media is currently working with several tech start-ups from a photo-sharing social network to a QR Code software management company. HS Media is also touting the revolutionary new Appsbar which allows individuals to create and publish their own apps for iPhone and Android.
