Entry for August 11, 2006

We have entered Cathedral Pines in the Boulder International Film Festival - here are some details;

The Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF), sponsored in part by the Sundance Channel, is one of Colorado's most celebrated film events and is developing international recognition as a showcase for the best new films by today's most important new filmmakers and stars.

it is held each year on President's Day weekend - which I think is in February...right? Here is some more from the Festival website;

Upon acceptance, we assign a filmmaker liaison to each filmmaker in the festival, and house you at an exclusive hotel, just a few blocks from our main venue, the 850-seat Boulder Theater in downtown Boulder. There's great free food, great hospitality, and fantastic parties every night. All events, parties, films, and workshops are located within a 4-block radius on the legendary Pearl Street Mall.

I spent last week at the Pearl Street Mall - its amazing - nothing but shops, galleries, restaraunts, book stores...very cool -

Hi! I would absolutely love to see this film since Peter Tork is in it. I am a fan of his work. He is a musical genius in my opinion. I won't be able to attend any film festivals, but I was hoping I could possibly purchase the DVD of this film if and when it is available.

Not really a comment on the blog, just a little something I wish to share. The other day a co-work told me he asked at a Blockbuster if they had any copies of Cathedral Pines, unforetunately they did not, and worst of the clerk had never heard of it. Of course being the good guy that I am I let him take my DVD

Chuck -

You rock! - you have been such a great supporter of the film and we appreciate it - Blockbuster is down the line for us (not too far I hope) - but we'll get there
