Entry for July 31, 2006
We have sold out of the original version of the DVD - not really as impressive as it sounds - we printed 100 and gave many away to winners of the Masslive contest and sent a few to distributors, some to festivals, and a handful to others in the industry. We do get a chance to show the film this week in Boulder, CO - hoping some of our friends in the record business are interested enough to get involved in our distribution attempts. Exploring the idea of printing more copies of the special edition DVD ... if we get enough inquiries, we might do another run. 2006-07-31 10:13:26 GMT

Received the DVD Saturday, and had a "movie night", to check it out. Seems a little dis-jointed in the beginning, slow to get up to speed. Once the storyline connection became clear between Donnie and Lindsay, it came together a little better. I must say I'm still mystified about Matt's angst; he pistol shots, and booze in the bottom drawer? Maybe it will all become clearer to me in the next viewing.

I thought both Donnie and Lindsay's acting was very good. And the cinematography (is that the right word?) was very good. At any rate, I'm a big RNX fan, and as such feel some sort of strange kinship to this project, listening about it as it was developed, and I admire Donnie's diverse ambition. And hopefully I'll run into Lindsay around the office to compliment her personally on her work in the film. Good Luck in the distribution effort. --Jeff (Special K)
